"A thriving addition to the local coffee scene. Red Shoe Solo offers a pleasant experience with a clean, comfortable interior and a welcoming atmosphere. The young owners provide excellent service and are happy to engage with their customers. Technically, the coffee stands out with a choice of three distinct bean profiles. Despite being open for only nine months, it has already established a loyal following—expect a crowd even as early as 07:00. Fairly priced and thoughtfully designed, including a compact outdoor seating area for smokers."

"Lovely place with very friendly people. Love to go here in weekdays as I like it when it’s more quiet. They change their coffee beans every month, so can try new experiences often. There is also a book store and small library there. So cozy to spend time alone."

"new slow bar coffee in solo raya that i visited. it was located around manahan. if you were looking for a break after exercise, this place was easy to reach. they had about 5–6 outdoor seats and some indoor ones too. the place have quite good ambience, moreover the good service from the barista. they had a lot of coffee variations to try. i had the yirgacheffe with a medium-light body—it had notes in the yellow fruit spectrum and tasted even better when it cooled down, personally. i really appreciated the barista and his coffee rotation choices since there were so many varieties. they played a warm, melodic playlist, and they also had an original mango cheesecake!"

"You know one’s serious about their coffee when they open as early as 6! I tried their filter coffee, Dirty, and Magic, and they’re all delicious. Their New York-style cheesecake paired nicely with my coffee too (I may or may not have had two slices in one day…). It’s a small place and pretty quiet, perfect for reading! If you’re looking to chat with anyone, Restu and Rani and the other customers usually make for great company. Also it’s just a 30-second walk to a really good soto place haha. If I lived in Solo this would definitely be my go-to coffee shop!"

"I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! Here’s what you can expect from this slow coffee bar in Solo. 1. The place has a cute design and is basically a coffee heaven 2. Before you enter the shop, you can already smell the heavenly fragrance of roasted coffee from outside the door (even like 10 steps away from it) 3. The baristas (which I assume are also the owners) are super informative. They can give you recommendations for which beans to pick if you want to have your coffee made a certain way. For example, i end up choosing my coffee to be made “split” since i chose their December seasonal beans. Originally I wanted to try their dirty latte but because I didn’t have much time to spare I had to order it as a take away. But they didn’t recommend to get dirty latte as a take away, better to drink it on the spot. They even recommended what beans to choose for dirty latte! 4. As a continuation of my third point, thus by visiting and buying a cup of coffee from this place, you get to learn a lot of new things about coffees! You get to converse with them about beans and the different machines they use. Honestly, the baristas/owners r so passionate about coffee you can taste those passion and love poured into your cup of coffee!!! 10/10 recommend this place if you are in Solo. Oh the price? Lovelyyy! Don’t worry you won’t go broke hehe (this is coming from a college student btw) compared to the prices of good coffees in Jakarta Area. P.s. better to take public transportt yaa bcs their parking is very limited."

"One of the best coffee shops in Solo that I've visited. Love their wonderful brewed coffees, both filter and espresso based. The Mango Cheesecake is a must-try. The warm welcome and chat from the owner couple and their regulars make me find a home away from home. Thank you so much/Matur nuwun. #CrankyCaffeine"
